A Message from Dr. Jim Denison

Let’s stand for God’s truth this North Texas Giving Day.

As a ministry nonprofit, we rely on donations from readers like you, but I hope you hear my heart behind these requests.

Especially for such a vital day as North Texas Giving Day.

This year, North Texas Giving Day is on Thursday, Sept. 21—and it’s a vital day of giving for our ministry.

In the short video below, I share why this event is so essential for setting our ministry on a firm foundation for the future:

I don’t take our donation requests lightly, especially in a down economy.

But—and you may have experienced this yourself—our dollars aren’t going as far as before.

Yet, as a ministry nonprofit that creates and publishes biblical, nonpartisan content on a daily basis, our needs remain the same.

That’s why I’m asking you to consider your best gift for this North Texas Giving Day.

Note: You don’t have to live in North Texas to give. This day serves hundreds of nonprofits that are located in the North Texas area (as we are). It is an incredible day of giving that supports so many organizations that exist to serve others.

Humbly, I ask that if you stand with our calling “to equip the saints for the work of ministry” (Eph. 4:12) so that Christians throughout the globe can be “salt and light” in their sphere of influence, please consider your best gift today.

North Texas Giving Day is the single largest day of giving to our ministry, and the generosity of partners like you allows us to enter into 2024 (an election year, though I know you haven’t forgotten that) in strength.

We are seeking to raise $859,605 on this vital day of giving.

Will you help us reach that goal?

Thank you for prayerfully considering your support on this essential day.

To God’s glory,

Jim Denison

Our Needs

Denison Forum reaches a broad audience through The Daily Article email newsletter and podcast, The Denison Forum Podcast, our many online articles and printed books, and our social media channels.

Denison Forum averages 2.2 million content experiences each month, with over 15 million in 2023 so far. Content experiences are defined by actual Daily Article emails opened (over 10 million in 2023), individual podcast episodes downloaded (1.5 million in 2023), articles read on DenisonForum.org (2.6 million pages viewed in 2023), and more.

We are called to deepen our audience’s understanding of what it means to be a “culture-changing Christian” in the twenty-first century.

Denison Forum is a 100-percent donor-funded ministry nonprofit, and your partnership is essential in challenging more Christians to be “salt and light” today.

Denison Forum is only one part of a comprehensive strategy by which our parent organization, Denison Ministries, creates Christ-centered content that equips believers to transform culture. In addition, we offer:

  • First15, a daily resource that leads you into a transformative personal encounter with God through devotional readings, worship videos, and directed prayers.
  • Foundations with Janet, a Bible study resource with blogs, videos, and biblical content for individual and small group use.
  • Christian Parenting, which provides practical and spiritual resources to help parents raise children to know and love the Lord.

Each brand exists as a partner to the others for the purpose of building a movement of culture changing Christians. Know that your gifts through North Texas Giving Day will benefit each of our brands and our overall mission.

*Once you donate we will start to send you The Daily Article and other emails to help you discern the news differently.

Mission

Denison Forum discerns news differently—from a biblical perspective. Featuring Dr. Jim Denison’s "The Daily Article", DenisonForum.org publishes insightful, biblically based content to inspire, challenge, and encourage today’s Christians to be “salt and light” in a world in desperate need of both.
